A Presbyterian minister blogs about spirituality, culture, religion (both organized and disorganized), life, evolution, literature, Jesus, and lightening up.
This is my personal blog. My views are my own and do not represent those of the congregation I joyfully serve. But my congregation loves me!

Let's Hear It for the New Yorkers!
Two presbyteries voted on amendment B today, Long Island and Northern New York. Both presbyteries have been consistent supporters of equality and continued that great trend voting YES!
What? No mention of New York City Presbytery voting 76-25? NYCP was one of the two presbyteries that originally raised the question which unfortunately resulted in Definitive Guidance. NYCP may be dysfunctional, but at least we are justice loving supporters of full inclusion dysfunctional. http://summittoshore.blogspot.com/2009/03/new-york-city-presbytery-meets-on.html
